    • Qualifiers: 6:45pm

    • Second Chance Battle: 8:45pm

  • Grand Prix: 4 Races (6 Races for Semis & Grand Finals)

  • Motion Controls: Your Choice

  • Nintendo Switches provided only on the main stage, you may bring your own controller but Joy-Con will be provided

  • You must use the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas headsets and use the audio & video settings set by Production

Second Chance Battle Rules

  • Mode: Randomly Selected Before Tournament

  • Teams: Off

  • Items: Normal

  • CPU: Off

  • Course: Random

  • Rounds: 1


  • The tournament will be played in four phases:

    • Qualifiers

    • Second Chance Battle

    • Semifinals

    • Grand Finals

  • In Qualifiers, each racer will compete in one Grand Prix composed of 4 Races. After all qualifiers are completed, the Top 22 point scores will advance to the Semifinals phase.

  • In Second Chance Battle, the top point scorers who did NOT automatically advance to Semifinals phase will compete in two separate rounds of a Battle Mode. The top player after each round of Second Chance will advance to the Semifinals phase.

  • In Semifinals, the Top 22 point scorers from Qualifiers & 2 winners from Second Chance Battle will compete in two groups of twelve (12) racers. Each group will race in a 6-race Grand Prix with the Top 6 from each moving on to Grand Finals.

  • In Grand Finals, racers will compete in a 6-Race Grand Prix to determine final standings and payouts.

  • Due to time constraints, all ties for progressing further into the tournament are broken by 200cc Baby Park.

  • Due to time constraints, there are no tiebreaker events for tied payout spots. Tied players split payouts.

    • All Tournament Fees are directly contributed towards the prize pool

  • Rebuys (only available if less than 72 racers AND if total # of racers is not a number divisible by 12)

    • $2/player, one rebuy per player; CASH ONLY. EXACT AMOUNT REQUIRED.

    • Rebuys are now cheaper than before, but now non-refundable

    • Rebuys are now determined by lottery instead of first-come, first-serve

    • Cash transaction is handled between the player & Tournament Director.

    • 1st: $200

    • 2nd: $100

    • 3rd: $70

    • 4th: $55

    • 5th: $45

    • 6-7th: $37

    • 8-9th: $33

    • 10-12th: $30

Payouts FAQ

Q: How are tournament winnings paid out?

  • Tournament winnings are paid out via direct transfer (ACH) for domestic players, and PayPal for International players. Winning players are handed a payout form upon completion of the tournament and are handed back to the Tournament Official.

Q: How long does it take to get paid out?

  • Tournament winnings are processed every Tuesday and may take 3-5 days to hit your account. On rare occasions, up to 14 days.
